How do I create a php.ini file?

To create a php.ini file, you will just need to open up a text editor (Notepad is fine for this.) You just have to add in the lines necessary for your php.ini file, and then save the file. You can keep the .txt extension at the end of it for the time being.

Once you're done saving the file, upon up your FTP client and then upload the php.ini to your root directory (public_html/). Once you have it uploaded, rename the file so that it's end result is JUST php.ini. Then you're done! :o)

For the advanced user, you can also CHMOD the file to 600 so that it will allow you to read and write the file, but will block Apache from displaying it.
