How do I set up POP3 with my email client?

Before you set up your email client (Outlook, Thunderbird or Apple Mail), make sure that you've created an email account in cPanel. Once you have done that, you will need to open up your client, and add your email.

Your email login will be email-account@your-domain.com. This is required in order for your account to authenticate properly. You will then be asked to enter in your POP mail server settings. You will need to enter in mail.your-domain.com, with port 110, and using no secure connection. For your SMTP settings, you will enter in mail.your-domain.com, with port 25, and using no secure connection.

However, some ISPs have port 25 blocked, and may not work. If you are unable to send out mail using port 25, try using port 225. This should allow you to send mail with no issues whatsoever.

If you are having an issue setting up a POP3 account with your mail client, you can try googling for your specific program to follow through their instructions, or you can send in a ticket and we can try to help you out.
